MEET THE CHEF


Paris was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated in 2004 from Crockett Technical High School (Detroit, MI) where she obtained her Cosmetology License. In 2009 she graduated from Kentucky State University located in (Frankfort, KY) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and minor in Mathematics. Paris served in the United States Army from 2012-2016. In 2021 she graduated from Dorsey College (Roseville, MI) with a certification in Culinary Arts. Paris is ACF Certified throughout the country.

In 2020, Paris took a leap of faith and started Purple Lion Cuisine, a full-service catering business to include baking and bartending. She has had the pleasure of traveling across the country to provide her culinary delights for celebrities, NFL 2024 Draft, NFL teams, weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Her specialties include live hibachi experiences, soul food, steaks and cheesecakes. Paris conducts an annual feed the Homeless Drive every year feeding over 100-150 Homeless people throughout Metro Area of Detroit, Mi. In 2024 Paris founded her Culinary Scholarship Foundation called VBP Culinary Scholarship, named after late beloved mother Velma Bridges-Porter.

She lives by the motto that “If you are going to show up for your dream then make sure you show out”.
